IVHA Asbestos Surveys

We carried out asbestos management surveys on 400 of IVHA’s properties, focusing on the individual dwellings, communal areas, plant rooms and external areas and lofts and voids where accessible.  We also carried out the sampling and testing of any possible asbestos containing materials in our own UKAS accredited laboratory.

City of Westminster Professional Partnership Support

Read how we applied an asbestos survey to a disused, underground sub-station which has also been used as a bunker during the Second World War.

London Borough of Sutton Professional Partnership Support

We were instructed by Sutton Council to undertake an intrusive survey in advance of major programmed roofing and refurbishment works to the much loved library, ACMs (asbestos containing materials) were identified internally on the ceiling, in the fascia panels beneath and the sealant within the skylights to the rear flat roof of the grade II listed building.

Venture Housing Association Asbestos Surveys

The Housing Association required Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys prior to their Kitchen and Bathroom refurbishment works on 66 properties which were occupied and vacant.

We were appointed to undertake a series of Management surveys with R & D elements that needed to be delivered very quickly in order to facilitate the continued programme of re-wires by our client.

Large Leisure Centre – Asbestos Surveys

The Client (a large local authority) and the managing company had commissioned a management
asbestos survey of  the leisure centre  by a third party. This survey had highlighted a number of
contaminated areas  which  had resulted in access restrictions being put in place.  Extensive
environmental cleaning and encapsulation was required to make these areas usable again.

International Food Production Company – Asbestos Consultancy

We were appointed to provide advice, support and assistance to implement an asbestos management plan, following the identification of asbestos containing materials in poor condition during the routine re-inspection of known asbestos containing materials within the premises.
